Rock legends Aerosmith and alt-rock star Yungblud have shocked fans by announcing a collaborative EP titled One More Time.
The news comes just weeks after Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry joined Yungblud on stage at the 2025 MTV VMAs for an emotional tribute performance to Ozzy Osbourne. The three artists performed a fiery medley that went viral online, sparking speculation that something bigger was in the works.
After the show, Yungblud and the Aerosmith duo teased fans by sharing a short backstage video on social media, hinting at a “secret.” Now, that secret is out, and fans are thrilled.
The lead single from the EP, titled My Only Angel, will drop tomorrow across streaming platforms. The track is described as a “raw, powerful, guitar-driven anthem” that blends Yungblud’s rebellious energy with Aerosmith’s classic rock swagger.
This release is particularly significant because it marks the first original Aerosmith music in over ten years, making it a historic moment for fans of the legendary band.
In a joint statement, Yungblud said: “I grew up idolising Aerosmith, to be in the studio with Steven and Joe was beyond anything I could have imagined. We wrote something real, something with fire in it. I think people are going to feel it.”

Joe Perry echoed the excitement, saying: “It felt incredible to get back in the studio and just play. There’s an energy on this record that reminds me of why we started doing this in the first place. Yungblud brought a raw edge that woke something up in us.”
Steven Tyler added: “We’ve been waiting for the right moment to make new music, and this just felt right. My Only Angel is special.”
The EP One More Time is expected to feature four tracks, with more details likely to be revealed in the coming weeks. Yungblud’s fanbase, known for their passionate online presence, have already been flooding social media with excitement, calling the collaboration “unexpected but perfect.”
Music critics are also watching closely, as the collaboration represents a unique merging of generations: Yungblud, the 27-year-old face of modern alt-rock rebellion, working with one of the most iconic classic rock bands of all time.
With the single dropping tomorrow and the EP to follow later this year, fans are eagerly counting down to see what this unexpected super-collaboration delivers.
