Vanessa Hudgens is getting ready to add another little one to her family!
The High School Musical and Tick, Tick… Boom! star, 35, took to Instagram on Saturday (July 19) to announce she’s expecting her second child with husband Cole Tucker, less than a year after tying the knot.
In a heartwarming carousel of photos, Vanessa showcased her growing baby bump in a chic cream open shirt and matching skirt, looking radiant as ever. In one snap, she and baseball star Cole, 28, hold hands and laugh, while another shows them pointing playfully at her stomach.
The actress kept her caption simple but joyful:
"Round two!!!!"
A whirlwind year of love and family
Vanessa and Cole, who first met during a Zoom meditation class in 2020, became engaged in early 2023 and wed in December that year in a romantic beachside ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.
In March 2024, she surprised fans by debuting her first baby bump on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, stunning in a sleek black gown. At the time, she said becoming a mother was “the most magical feeling” and gushed about how supportive Cole had been.
Now, just four months after giving birth to their first child, the couple are already preparing for baby number two.
An insider close to the actress said:
"Vanessa always dreamed of having a big family and she and Cole are thrilled to be growing their brood so soon. She’s healthy, happy, and glowing."

Following the post, Vanessa’s Instagram comments were flooded with congratulations from celebrity friends and fans alike.

What’s next?
While Vanessa hasn’t yet shared when she’s due, sources say she plans to enjoy some family time before returning to work. She’s currently producing a number of film and TV projects and is set to star in an upcoming rom-com later next year.
