USHER: NEAR DISASTER FEEDING CHERRIES

Usher narrowly avoided a medical emergency during his London show last week, after attempting to feed a fan cherries, only to discover she was allergic. The R&B superstar has a tradition of handing out cherries to female audience members during his steamy performance of "There Goes My Baby", but this time, the gesture nearly turned dangerous.

In a now-viral video from the concert, Usher can be seen approaching a fan, a blonde woman who proudly showed him a tattoo of his name on her upper inner arm. Delighted by the tribute, Usher asked, "Would you be okay if I give it a kiss?" He then kissed the tattoo, playfully teasing, "You're going to get me in trouble."

But things took an unexpected turn when Usher pulled out two cherries and attempted to feed them to the fan. The woman leaned in to whisper something in his ear, but it seemed he couldn’t hear her over the cheers of the crowd. Usher tried again, holding the cherries to her mouth. It was only when she shouted, "I'm allergic!" that he realised the potential danger.

Startled, Usher immediately pulled back, jokingly calling out, "Oh s***, she is allergic to cherries, anyone got an EpiPen?" The singer quickly hugged the woman, telling her, "I'm sorry, I love you," and humorously added as he walked away, "We almost had an emergency in here."

The incident has since gone viral, with fans praising Usher for his quick reaction and sense of humour in a potentially dangerous situation.

This isn’t the first time Usher’s on-stage interactions have made headlines. Recently, a fan spoke out about wild rumours claiming her husband filed for divorce after she shared a steamy moment with the singer at one of his shows.

As Usher continues his international tour, his charming stage presence remains a major draw, but it seems his cherry tradition might need a little more caution in the future.
