The couple broke the news in a glossy spread with Vogue over the weekend, just ahead of the UK premiere of Hiddleston’s new film The Life of Chuck, part of this year’s SXSW London festival.
The reveal has delighted fans across the globe, with the couple famously keeping their personal life incredibly private. But the Vogue article dropped an unexpected bombshell, referring to Hiddleston as Ashton’s “husband,” fuelling intense speculation that the pair have quietly gotten married.
Neither Hiddleston, 43, nor Ashton, 39, has publicly confirmed the marriage, but eagle-eyed fans are pointing to their matching rings and multiple red-carpet appearances as clues.
The couple already share a child, born in late 2022. Now, baby number two is on the way, and friends say they’re “overjoyed.”
Zawe Ashton, best known for her roles in Fresh Meat and The Marvels, looked radiant at the premiere, wearing a flowing, bump-accentuating gown as she posed beside her beaming partner. Hiddleston, of Loki and The Night Manager fame, was reportedly “thrilled” to share the news in such a joyful way.
