THE WEEKND ADDS THREE EXTRA WEMBLEY STADIUM DATES TO 2026 TOUR

The Weeknd is officially taking over London next summer. The Canadian superstar has added three more shows to his already sold-out run at Wembley Stadium as part of his extended After Hours Til Dawn tour, bringing the total to five nights at the iconic venue.

The Grammy-winning artist, real name Abel Tesfaye, originally announced two dates at Wembley, set for August 14 and 15, 2026. But following overwhelming demand from fans during last week’s presale, he has now confirmed that he will also perform on August 16, 18, and 19.

The newly announced shows cement The Weeknd’s position as one of the biggest live acts on the planet, with his 2026 tour already breaking records for ticket sales across multiple continents. The global trek will see him visit North America, South America, Europe, and the UK between April and August next year, performing to millions of fans worldwide.

Tickets for the three extra Wembley dates go on general sale at noon today, and demand is expected to be huge. Previous shows on the After Hours Til Dawn tour sold out within minutes, with fans rushing to secure their place at what has been described as one of the most visually stunning tours of the decade.

The After Hours Til Dawn tour first launched in 2022 and has since become a cultural phenomenon, blending The Weeknd’s biggest hits with dazzling visuals, elaborate stage production, and a cinematic storyline inspired by his After Hours and Dawn FM albums. Critics have hailed the tour as a “career-defining moment” for the artist, with standout performances of tracks like “Blinding Lights,” “Save Your Tears,” and “Die For You” becoming viral moments on social media.

Abel has previously spoken about the tour being his most ambitious yet, telling fans that the goal was to create a “fully immersive experience” that merges music, storytelling, and technology. The London shows are expected to include brand-new elements exclusive to the 2026 leg, making them a must-see for both diehard fans and casual listeners.

The Weeknd’s Wembley takeover is expected to be one of the highlights of the UK’s live music calendar next summer, with hundreds of thousands of fans expected to attend across the five dates.

Fans are being urged to log on early to secure tickets when they go on sale today, as demand is predicted to be at record levels.
