Strictly sweethearts Molly Rainford and Tyler West are the latest stars to sign up for Celebrity Race Across The World, and in a surprise twist, they’ve already secretly filmed the BBC hit
The couple, who first sparked romance rumours during their stint on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2022, have taken their chemistry from the dancefloor to the departure lounge in what’s being described as the show’s most adventurous series yet.
A BBC insider revealed: “Molly and Tyler are a huge coup for the show. They’re both popular with millions of viewers from their stints on Strictly, and Molly will also attract a big EastEnders audience.”
The upcoming series will see the loved-up pair swap glitz and glamour for grit and Google Maps, as they race across unfamiliar territory on a shoestring budget, without the help of flights or smartphones. The gruelling challenge pushes celebrities to their physical, mental, and emotional limits as they travel thousands of miles using only basic resources and local transport.
The insider added: “They are a very adventurous pair and have brilliant chemistry, so bosses are confident they will become huge fan favourites.”

The last series of Celebrity Race Across The World, which aired in August 2024, saw famous faces like Kelly Brook, Scott Mills, Jeff Brazier, and Ted Lasso star Kola Bokinni battling it out across South America.
