Siam Park strengthens commitment to accessibility and inclusion

Siam Park in the south of Tenerife, widely recognised as the best water park in the world, is reinforcing its dedication to ensuring that everyone, regardless of physical, sensory, or cognitive ability, can fully enjoy its facilities.

“Inclusion is part of our DNA, and we will continue to innovate so that no one is left behind,” said Christoph Kiessling, Director of Siam Park. He highlighted the park’s ongoing collaboration with accessibility experts to adapt its infrastructure to meet the real needs of users.

The park’s approach to accessibility goes far beyond basic compliance. Attractions such as the Naga Racer and Lost City are equipped with ramps for wheelchair users, and electric scooters are available for hire, making it easier to navigate the park’s expansive 180,000 square metres.

Special attention is also given to both young children and older visitors, with dedicated safe zones for kids and a range of facilities and services designed to offer maximum comfort to seniors.

Visitors with autism or Down syndrome can benefit from Fast Pass wristbands, allowing them and their companions priority access to attractions. Additionally, those with a recognised disability of 60% or more receive a 50% discount, while individuals with total disability can enter the park free of charge.

Kiessling emphasised that accessibility in leisure and tourism is no longer a luxury, but a fundamental requirement in an inclusive society:

“Guaranteeing access to leisure for all is not just about compliance, it’s an opportunity to turn the industry into a driver of equity and sustainable development.”

With its mix of world-class attractions and a deep commitment to accessibility, Siam Park is setting a new standard in inclusive tourism, ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of the "Kingdom of Water" without barriers.
