Sam Fender is ready to make his mark beyond the music charts. and into the drinks aisle, the fashion world, and even your sweet cupboard.
The 30-year-old Geordie rocker is preparing to launch his own line of alcoholic beverages, after receiving formal approval from the UK Intellectual Property Office to use his name on a range of retail goods.
According to trademark filings, Fender now holds rights to market “Beers, Alcoholic beverages, and Non-alcoholic beverages,” including fruit juices, mineral water, and more.
But that’s not all. The paperwork also hints at a full lifestyle brand rollout, with Sam looking to put his name on clothing, jewellery, temporary tattoos, and even chocolates. It’s an ambitious pivot that sees the singer stepping into the world of celebrity branding, following in the footsteps of stars like Ryan Reynolds (Aviation Gin) and The Rock (Teremana Tequila).
Fender, who exploded onto the scene with his debut album Hypersonic Missiles, has since become one of the UK’s most celebrated artists, praised for his gritty lyrics, powerhouse vocals, and working-class roots.
His entrepreneurial move comes as little surprise to fans who have watched his rapid rise to global fame. With sell-out tours, festival headlines, and chart-topping albums under his belt, the time seems right for Fender to expand his empire.
It’s not yet clear what the name of the brand will be or when the first products will hit shelves, but insiders say a range of beers and ciders could launch as early as 2026.
Fans are already buzzing with anticipation, and a few are even cheekily asking whether a “Seventeen Going Under” lager will be on the menu.
Whatever the label, one thing’s for sure: Sam Fender is about to be everywhere, and we’re raising a glass to that.
