Stacey Solomon has shared her sheer delight after receiving an unexpected parcel from none other than David Beckham, complete with a handwritten note from the football legend himself.
The Loose Women star revealed the sweet surprise on her Instagram Story, telling her followers she was “so excited” after discovering that Beckham had not only read her message but taken the time to reply with a thoughtful gift.
It all started when Stacey, who recently decided to take up beekeeping at her family home, sent Beckham a voice note on Instagram asking for his advice, inspired by his well-documented passion for bees at his Cotswolds estate.
She explained:
“I’m getting a beehive and I know you and Victoria have got bees and they’re a big part of your life, so I just wondered if you had any top tips or advice.”
Cringing as she hit send, Stacey admitted:
“I’m already regretting sending you this message because I know you’ll never see it, or hear it, and if you do you’ll probably think I’m a weirdo.”
Believing she’d been ignored, the Sort Your Life Out presenter later confessed to her sister Gemma that she was embarrassed about the message, joking:
“I’m going to be blacklisted from all cool things now because I’ve just sent David Beckham the most loser-ish message.”
However, much to her surprise, a package soon arrived addressed to her and husband Joe Swash, containing a jar of Beckham’s homemade honey, a selection of snacks, and a handwritten card.
Beckham’s note read:
“To Stacey and Joe, I hope you enjoy the honey and snacks. Lots of love, David Beckham.”
Overjoyed by the unexpected gesture, Stacey couldn’t hide her excitement as she shared the moment online.
“I’ve been sent a parcel from… the Beckhams,” she gushed. “How sweet that he actually replied to an Instagram! I’ve got David Beckham’s autograph! What a time to be alive!”

Fans flooded Stacey’s comments with messages of support and laughter, praising her for being “so real” and “adorably starstruck.” One wrote: “Only Stacey Solomon could fangirl over a jar of honey and make the whole nation smile.”
David Beckham, who has often shared glimpses of his countryside beekeeping hobby on social media, famously produces his own honey labelled DBee’s Honey, a nod to his initials.
Stacey’s new hobby is just one of many wholesome additions to her family’s Pickle Cottage life, where she documents her DIY projects, home makeovers, and adventures with Joe and their five children.
It’s not the first time the bubbly presenter has had an unexpected celebrity interaction, but this one clearly topped the lot.
Laughing, she concluded her story with a grin:
“This is the best thing ever! Thanks David, we love you!”
