SIR CLIFF RICHARD UNVEILS HIS 48TH CALENDAR

For nearly five decades, Sir Cliff Richard has delighted fans with his annual calendar, and 2026 will be no exception. The 48th edition has now been confirmed, with photographs already in the bag, and it’s set to be another heart-warming hit.

This time, the images reflect a relaxed, personal side to the Young Ones singer, blending travel, friendship, and a dash of light-hearted fun.

One standout shot for April sees Sir Cliff taking a friend’s dog for a ride in a pushcart bike, a whimsical moment that’s bound to raise smiles. Another charming image captures the star looking positively thrilled to have found a tin of his favourite Custard Cream biscuits in a supermarket in the Bahamas.

There’s also a playful photograph of the singer on a Caribbean island, standing in front of a pair of angel wings at a local shopping centre, proving that, even after more than 65 years in show business, he hasn’t lost his mischievous streak.

Speaking about the new release, Sir Cliff explained:

“I have been very lucky to spend some time at home and visiting friends, and the 2026 calendar has some of the pictures taken along the way in Barbados, the United States and in Denmark. I prefer these lifestyle images to studio shots as they reflect my enjoyment of travel, spending quality time with friends, and creating memories that I love to share in this calendar. I hope you enjoy all the pictures throughout 2026.”

It’s this candid, personal approach that has helped make Sir Cliff’s calendars enduringly popular. Since his very first in 1979, sales have soared to an estimated £2 million, an achievement that sees him outselling even David Beckham in the celebrity calendar market.

The appeal is easy to understand. For many fans, each year’s calendar isn’t just a collection of photographs, it’s a visual diary of Sir Cliff’s life, shared with warmth and personality. His calendars have charted everything from his stage performances and behind-the-scenes moments to holiday snapshots and treasured friendships.

For 2026, it’s clear Sir Cliff wanted to celebrate not only his music career but the joy of living well, making memories, and appreciating life’s simple pleasures, whether that’s exploring Barbados, catching up with friends in the USA, cycling with a canine passenger, or finding a beloved biscuit on a far-flung island.

As the festive season approaches later this year, fans can expect the calendar to hit shelves and online stores, ready to take pride of place in kitchens, offices, and homes across the UK and beyond.

And for those who have collected every edition since 1979, the 2026 instalment will be yet another cherished chapter in a remarkable career that continues to inspire.
