SHARON OSBOURNE DROPS ROCK BAND FROM OZZY’S FINAL GIG

SHARON OSBOURNE DROPS ROCK BAND FROM OZZY’S FINAL GIG

Sharon Osbourne has revealed she’s pulled a mystery band from the much-hyped farewell concerts of husband Ozzy Osbourne after what she describes as a furious showdown with their manager.

As Black Sabbath prepare to take their final bow at Villa Park in Birmingham for the Back to the Beginning concerts, Sharon has confirmed that one band has already been dropped from the support line-up due to behind-the-scenes drama.

In a no-holds-barred interview with Metal Hammer, the fiery Osbourne matriarch detailed the backstage bust-up, which she claims left her feeling “the worst she’s felt in years.”

“I had a huge, huge to-do with a manager over this celebration for Ozzy and Sabbath,” Sharon shared. “And it was probably the worst way I’ve felt in years.”

While she didn’t name the band in question, the line-up for the farewell gigs includes some of the biggest names in metal, such as Metallica and Slayer, leading fans to speculate feverishly online about which act has been axed.

“I don’t care what this person says about me, thinks about it, because he doesn’t know me,” she continued. “He’s now going around making up bulls*** lies because I threw his band off the bill.”

Never one to mince words, Sharon added, “I don’t care what people say. Because do you know what? I don’t love them. I care about people who love me, what they say about me.”

While it’s not unusual for tempers to flare behind the scenes of a major rock event, this revelation adds an extra layer of intrigue to what’s already shaping up to be a legendary send-off for the Prince of Darkness.

Fans of Ozzy and Black Sabbath are expected to flock from around the world to Birmingham this summer for the final shows, billed as a full-circle celebration of the band’s epic career.

With Sharon pulling the strings behind the scenes, one thing’s for sure: no drama will be tolerated at Ozzy’s last hurrah. And if you're on her bad side, you might not make it past the soundcheck.
