Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder are officially returning for a third series of their wildly popular BBC Two travel show, and fans are overjoyed.
Even though the second season of the hit travelogue has yet to air, The Sun reports that the BBC has already greenlit a third instalment of Rob & Rylan’s Grand Tour. The decision comes on the heels of the duo’s BAFTA TV Awards win in May, where the show scooped the Factual Entertainment category, cementing its status as one of the most engaging and unexpectedly emotional series in recent years.
The first series followed the pair as they explored Europe, delving into art, architecture, philosophy, and culture in an unexpectedly heartwarming and hilarious way. Combining Rob’s legal and classical background with Rylan’s showbiz charm proved to be a winning formula, one that resonated with audiences across a wide age range.
An insider told The Sun:
“The success of the show was as much a surprise to the boys as it was to anyone else because it was almost a TV experiment.
What would happen if you take two people, one from highbrow culture, the other from pop culture, and send them off on their travels? The answer is hilarious, moving and educational telly, loved by both the viewers, critics and the execs alike.”
The second series was filmed last year and is expected to air later this year. While full details about the third series, including its locations, remain under wraps, sources say plans are already in motion, showing just how much faith the BBC has in the show’s continued success.

Viewers have praised the dynamic between Rylan and Rob, whose bond on screen is as genuine as it is entertaining. Their mix of humour, intellect, and emotional openness has brought a fresh and meaningful twist to the travel genre.
With critical acclaim, a BAFTA in hand, and a third series on the horizon, Rob & Rylan’s Grand Tour is fast becoming one of the BBC’s most-loved factual entertainment series.
