Ronnie O’Sullivan has stunned fans by reuniting with his former partner Laila Rouass, and making a dramatic move to Dubai for a fresh start.
Just ten months after confirming their split, the snooker legend and Footballer’s Wives actress are not only back together, but reportedly planning a whole new life in the United Arab Emirates.
According to The Sun, Ronnie is selling his £2 million Essex mansion and relocating to the Middle East with Laila, who has agreed to join him for the next chapter of their relationship.
A source close to the couple revealed: “They have been back together for a while. The time apart gave them time to think about what they want and what is important, and that is being together.”
It’s believed that Dubai was chosen not just for the sunshine and luxury lifestyle, but for its proximity to Saudi Arabia, where Ronnie has recently opened a snooker academy.
“Dubai is just a two-hour flight from his base in Saudi,” the insider said. “It’s a fresh start, a clean break, they want to be away from everything.”
The couple, who had been together for over a decade before their split, reportedly worked through past issues and are “really happy again.”
Ronnie, known as one of snooker’s greatest-ever talents, has long expressed a desire to live outside the UK, even hinting at retirement more than once. But with Laila by his side and a new home on the horizon, it seems like he’s entering a new phase of both career and personal life.
