Disney+ has officially confirmed that the hit period comedy-drama "Rivals" will return for a highly anticipated second series, following its massive success last year. Fans of the show can look forward to an extended run, with the new season set to feature 12 episodes, four more than the first series.
Based on Jilly Cooper’s iconic 1988 novel, "Rivals" premiered on the streaming platform in October 2024 and quickly became a fan favourite. David Tennant’s character, Lord Tony Baddingham, was last seen in a life-threatening situation, leaving his fate hanging in the balance.
