Noel Gallagher is showing his generous side as he hits the road with brother Liam for the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour, by pledging thousands of pounds from his share of the profits to Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Britpop icon, 57, is reportedly planning to donate a “large” portion of his earnings from the record-breaking tour to the charity, for which he has served as an ambassador for many years. According to The Sun, Noel has made it clear from the start that the Teenage Cancer Trust will benefit from the Oasis comeback, proving that his rock ’n’ roll heart still beats for good causes.
A source told the newspaper:
“It’s no secret that Noel and Liam are both making millions from the reunion tour. But Noel is actually giving some of his cash away. He’s made it clear a large donation will be heading to Teenage Cancer Trust from his share of the proceeds.”
Noel’s history with Teenage Cancer Trust runs deep. The charity, which provides vital support and specialised care for young people with cancer, has long been a favourite cause of the Mancunian musician. He has previously performed numerous benefit concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall in support of the organisation.
Fans have praised the move online, with one commenting: “Noel’s always had a big heart despite the swagger, good on him for giving something back.” Another wrote: “This reunion is already iconic and now even better knowing it’s helping a great cause.”

The size of Noel’s planned donation has not been officially revealed, but it’s believed to run into six figures given the scale of the reunion tour’s profits.
Teenage Cancer Trust, founded in 1990, supports thousands of young cancer patients and their families every year. With no government funding, it relies entirely on donations from the public and corporate partners, making high-profile ambassadors like Noel Gallagher invaluable.
Whether this act of charity could also help thaw relations between the famously feuding Gallagher brothers remains to be seen. For now, however, Noel is proving that the Oasis reunion is not just about nostalgia and big paydays, but about making a difference too.
