Supermodel Naomi Campbell made a surprise appearance at Usher’s residency at London’s O2 Arena, joining the R&B star on stage for a memorable moment during the second night of his ten-date performance. Despite decades of experience strutting the catwalks of the world, Campbell admitted that she felt nervous as she prepared to take the stage with the superstar.
Dressed in a glittering silver mini dress, Naomi turned the spotlight into her own personal runway as Usher performed his 2004 hit “Bad Girl.” Her graceful movements added a new layer of glamour to the already electrifying performance.
In an interview backstage while getting her hair and makeup done, Naomi shared her nervousness about the unexpected performance. “Would you believe me if I said I’m nervous?” she laughed. “Well. I’m nervous, I’m now thinking no no no. But it’s good having nerves, you can use it to get over the hill so to speak.”
Despite her initial hesitation, Naomi explained that her deep connection with Usher was the reason she agreed to join him on stage. “Why do I get talked into these things? I say yes and then after I’m like ‘oh no, I don’t want to do it.’ We do things for people that we love,” she said.
Her cameo came just days after Naomi also shocked fans with a surprise appearance in Miley Cyrus’ Something Beautiful feature film, marking another unexpected collaboration for the fashion icon.
Naomi’s impromptu stage presence with Usher was a highlight of the night, showcasing her enduring charisma and relationship with the music world, while further cementing her status as an influential figure who continues to defy expectations.
