Mickey Rourke Rumoured for Celebrity Big Brother

With a mix of Hollywood icons, reality stars, and TV legends expected to enter the house…

Hollywood legend Mickey Rourke is the latest A-lister rumoured to be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, in what could be one of the most surprising signings in the show’s history.
A TV insider told The Sun that it’s hard to think of a Big Brother booking as big as Mickey Rourke since the show began. They added that while Sharon Osbourne was an impressive name last series, a Hollywood icon of Rourke’s standing brings a huge amount of clout.

ITV has remained tight-lipped on the speculation, stating that any names linked to Celebrity Big Brother are just speculation. However, with the show kicking off on Monday, anticipation is already reaching fever pitch.

Aerial shots have revealed that the Celebrity Big Brother house is ready and waiting for this year’s contestants. While the interior maintains the vibrant, colourful aesthetic of last season, the 2025 series has moved to a new location, Titan Studios in West London, after previously being based in Harlesden, North West London. One fan-favourite feature making a return is the hot tub, which is set to provide plenty of entertainment as contestants settle in under the warmer spring weather.

Alongside Rourke, another major name linked to the series is American singer and YouTube sensation JoJo Siwa. Having first gained fame on Dance Moms, Siwa is reportedly an exciting addition, with ITV bosses hoping she will help attract a U.S. audience. Other rumoured housemates include EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, ’90s pop star Chesney Hawkes, TV presenter Angellica Bell, Love Island star Chris Hughes, Olympic decathlete Daley Thompson, and Coronation Street actor Jack P. Shepherd.

Not all rumoured names will be making an appearance, though. Singer Macy Gray has reportedly caused a stir by pulling out of the line-up at the last minute, following her on-air meltdown during The Masked Singer.

With a mix of Hollywood icons, reality stars, and TV legends expected to enter the house, this year’s Celebrity Big Brother is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons yet. The show kicks off on ITV this Monday.
