Actress Michelle Keegan is making a dazzling return to the spotlight, and she’s doing it in serious style. The former Coronation Street star has just signed a six-figure deal to become the new face of Sky, in a high-profile advertising campaign set to be seen around the world.
Even more exciting? Michelle will be starring in the upcoming promo series alongside global megastar Idris Elba, best known for Luther, Hijack and his work in blockbuster films. The pair will front Sky’s latest international campaign, positioning Michelle as a key player in the brand's next chapter.
The move marks Michelle’s first major role since welcoming her daughter Palma in March. She’s been enjoying time off with husband Mark Wright and their newborn, but now she’s ready to step back into the limelight, and Sky is clearly rolling out the red carpet.
A source close to the deal told The Sun:
“Michelle has really been enjoying maternity leave with Palma, but she’ll be back to work soon to film these new adverts for Sky.
She has signed a six-figure deal for the job and is thrilled to have been chosen to appear alongside Idris, who has been their ‘face’ for some time.”

Michelle’s longstanding connection to Sky through her hit show Brassic played a major part in securing the deal. The gritty-yet-hilarious comedy-drama has been a fan-favourite for six seasons, with its seventh and final season expected to air later this year.
While fans are sad to see Brassic come to an end, this new global ambassador role ensures Michelle’s presence on Sky will continue, just in a very different way.
With a glamorous screen presence, box office charm and undeniable popularity, Michelle’s appointment makes perfect sense for Sky as they aim to blend prestige and relatability in their branding.
