Michael Fabricant: "You Didn’t See the Half of It"

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Michael Fabricant has made bombshell claims that viewers were only shown a fraction of the chaos surrounding Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke’s controversial time in the house, and insists the most shocking moments were left on the cutting room floor.

Rourke was dramatically ejected from the series following a string of offensive and inappropriate outbursts. The actor, known for his volatile temperament and maverick behaviour, reportedly made vile sexual comments to fellow housemate Ella Rae Wise, issued homophobic threats to pop star JoJo Siwa, and aggressively confronted Love Island's Chris Hughes, sparking widespread outrage from viewers.

But according to Fabricant, the public didn’t even get to see the worst of it.

Responding to a fan’s online question about Rourke’s slur towards JoJo Siwa, the former MP replied ominously: “Yeah, but that wasn’t said in isolation. There was a lot more, some of which could not be broadcast.”

He offered no further detail on the unaired moments but suggested that show bosses were forced to make tough editorial decisions to protect both viewers and the integrity of the series. It’s a claim that has reignited debate over how much reality TV producers should show, especially when high-profile stars are involved.

Fabricant also revealed one unseen moment that didn’t make the final edit, a cryptic comment from Rourke himself just days before his removal. “He was completely unpredictable,” Fabricant said. “He told me on Monday that he was going to be out on Thursday. And when Jack asked him, ‘Was it in your contract?’ he just smiled.”

The Jack in question is presumed to be Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd, one of the more grounded presences in the house this season. Other housemates including Trisha Goddard and Patsy Palmer are now nervously awaiting tonight’s eviction, as one of the trio is set to be given the boot.

The Rourke saga has cast a shadow over what was shaping up to be a highly entertaining series, with fans now demanding answers, and even calls for the unaired footage to be released in some form. Whether or not Big Brother will lift the lid on the full extent of Mickey’s behaviour remains to be seen, but if Fabricant’s claims are anything to go by, viewers were only treated to the tip of a very troubling iceberg.
