It’s no secret that Mariah Carey enjoys the finer things in life, and her latest stay in the UK proves she’s keeping that diva reputation firmly intact.
The global superstar, 55, who headlined Brighton Pride over the weekend, is reportedly spending a staggering £250,000 on her London accommodation.
According to The Sun, Mariah has checked into one of the top-floor suites at the Corinthia Hotel, a five-star luxury destination on London’s Embankment. Known for catering to royalty, Hollywood A-listers, and world leaders, the Corinthia is one of the capital’s most exclusive addresses.
The Suite Fit for a Queen
Mariah’s chosen suite is said to feature a large private terrace with sweeping views of the city, a wine cellar, a private spa, and a living room complete with a real log fire, the perfect mix of grandeur and comfort.
The price tag? Around £20,000 per night.
A source told the newspaper: “She blocked out two weeks in the best suite. It’s only the best for Mariah.
Her royal gig is a huge deal, so naturally she is living like a queen.”
If she stays for the full 14 days, the bill will exceed a quarter of a million pounds, without even factoring in room service, spa treatments, or those famously extravagant flower arrangements she’s known to request.
From Brighton to Sandringham
Mariah jetted into the UK last week on her private jet, touching down just in time for her headline appearance at Brighton Pride. The festival, which celebrates diversity and inclusion, saw her perform to thousands of fans, belting out her biggest hits.
Next on her schedule is a high-profile performance at Sandringham’s Royal Estate in Norfolk on August 15. The show is part of Heritage Live’s summer series of large outdoor concerts, which have previously featured artists like Robbie Williams, The Who, and Diana Ross.
Her Sandringham appearance is being billed as one of the most glamorous events in the UK’s summer music calendar, with fans travelling from across the country to see the pop icon perform against the backdrop of the historic royal estate.
Mariah’s UK Love Affair
This isn’t the first time Mariah has made a splash on British soil. The singer has often spoken about her affection for the UK and its audiences, having played sold-out shows in London, Manchester, and Glasgow over the years.
She also famously embraces British traditions, although it’s safe to say her version comes with a hefty dose of glamour. From afternoon tea served on fine china to a fleet of staff tending to her every need, Mariah’s UK trips are never ordinary.
Living the Diva Dream
Mariah Carey’s lavish spending might raise eyebrows, but for a star who has sold over 200 million records worldwide and remains one of the most successful recording artists in history, it’s all part of the package.
