Love Island stars Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki have sparked serious speculation that their year-long romance has come to an end, following a cryptic social media post from Whitney that fans believe points to a breakup, and possibly even cheating.
The couple, who were fan favourites on the ITV2 dating show’s summer 2023 series, have appeared loved-up ever since leaving the villa. But a TikTok video posted by Whitney yesterday has thrown their relationship status into question, and sent fans into full-on detective mode.
In the clip, Whitney is seen miming along to All For Me by Mariah the Scientist, dramatically syncing to the lyrics, “What does she have on me?” before the on-screen text flips to read: “She doesn’t wear wigs.” Her facial expressions throughout the video, a mix of confusion and apparent disbelief, combined with the caption “oh yikes” left fans convinced that all may not be well in paradise.
The video quickly gained traction online, with fans sharing their thoughts in the comments and across Reddit threads.
“I fear they’ve broken up,” one concerned follower commented, while another wrote, “Whitney’s new TikTok and her cryptic Snap stories from a few hours earlier… I think her and Lochan broke up.”
Neither Whitney nor Lochan has officially confirmed the split, but the timing and tone of her post have fuelled the rumours, with many fans reading between the lines and assuming something dramatic has gone down behind the scenes.

The couple met and fell for each other during the latter stages of Love Island 2023, winning over viewers with their calm chemistry and mature approach to villa life. Though they didn’t win the series, they left the island as one of the strongest and most promising couples from the season.
Since the show, they’ve kept fans updated with joint appearances, brand partnerships, and romantic photos, until now. Whitney’s recent silence on her usual couple content and Lochan’s own social media quietness have only added more fuel to the rumour fire.
As of now, fans are waiting for one, or both, of the reality stars to either confirm or deny the breakup. But if Whitney’s video is anything to go by, there may be more to the story than meets the eye.
