Another Love Island romance bites the dust, as Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard have officially gone their separate ways just four months after finding love on Love Island: All Stars.
The couple, who became one of the most talked-about pairings of the latest spin-off series earlier this year, confirmed the breakup on Wednesday via a heartfelt Instagram post from Ekin-Su. Despite constant rumours surrounding the authenticity of their relationship, many fans had hoped the duo would go the distance after leaving the villa hand-in-hand in January.
Ekin-Su, who previously won the 2022 series of Love Island, wrote: “I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways. It’s been a really tough decision, but one made with a lot of love and respect for one another.”
She continued, “He’s an incredible person and I’ll always cherish the memories we made both in and out of the villa. Thank you all so much for the love and support over the past few months. We’re both focusing on navigating this transition and would really appreciate privacy during this time. Love always, EkinSu Xx.”
Curtis Pritchard, who rose to fame during the 2019 season of Love Island and is also known for his work as a professional dancer and TV personality, has yet to issue a public statement of his own. However, sources close to the pair say the split was mutual and amicable, despite recent strain.
Since leaving the villa, the couple had faced constant speculation from fans and tabloids questioning whether their relationship was more showmance than romance. While they made several public appearances together and appeared to be going strong on social media, insiders say the pressures of fame, busy schedules, and public scrutiny played a role in the breakup.
