Lizzo has once again turned heads on Instagram, this time showcasing her dramatic weight loss in sizzling lingerie snaps just days after taking a swipe at Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.
The 36-year-old Grammy winner posed in a hot pink lace bra and matching bottoms from her shapewear line, Yitty, giving fans a glimpse of her slimmed-down figure. The post came with a cheeky caption: “Smoothing lace is back @yitty.”
Lizzo, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson, has been open about her “weight release journey” since 2023, a term she prefers over “weight loss.” In a recent podcast appearance with Jay Shetty, she explained, “I don’t want to lose anything. I want to win.”
Earlier this year, she proudly hit a personal milestone, sharing: “I did it. Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014!”
Throughout her journey, Lizzo has been clear that her transformation comes from hard work, not shortcuts. She’s repeatedly denied using Ozempic, joking in one post: “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”
Her partner, comedian Myke Wright, also played a role in reshaping her mindset. “I said I lost five pounds, and he was like, ‘Where did it go?’” she recalled. “At first I was mad, but he was right, it’s not about losing, it’s about releasing.”
The singer also used her SNL appearance to take a swipe at Trump following his latest tariff announcement. While she didn’t name him directly, fans quickly picked up on the pointed lyrics and jabs.
