Liam Gallagher has revealed that Sydney is one of the cities he's most looking forward to visiting on the upcoming Oasis Live 25 tour, and it’s all thanks to his love for reality TV.
The outspoken rocker, who will reunite with Oasis to celebrate the 25th anniversary of (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? shared his enthusiasm for the Australian city after being asked by a fan on social media. When a user named Chloe asked him to rate his excitement for playing Sydney on a scale of 1 to 10, Liam responded: “I’ve been watching MAFSA and that city is delicious.”
Married At First Sight Australia, which airs on E4 in the UK, has become a huge hit, with its dramatic relationship twists captivating audiences. The reality show, which matches strangers into instant marriages, has aired 12 seasons so far and remains one of the biggest TV successes for Australia’s Nine Network.
Liam also used his time chatting with fans on X (formerly Twitter) to seemingly confirm reports that he will be the last member to join Oasis rehearsals when they kick off next month. When asked if it was true that they were “saving the best for last,” Liam cheekily replied: “You said it.”
The singer also showed off his signature humour when he jokingly declared that after the Oasis tour, he was planning to “sail around Mongolia.” But for now, it’s back to business as he gears up for what is expected to be one of the biggest rock reunions in years. Now back in London, he told fans: “Back in North London forever whatever the f**king weather.”
With Oasis fans eagerly awaiting the tour and the long-anticipated reunion, Liam’s enthusiasm for Sydney, and his unexpected love for reality TV, has only added to the excitement surrounding the band’s return to the stage.
