Just days after being crowned Love Island 2025 runners-up, Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley have set the rumour mill spinning, and fans are convinced the couple might already be over.
In a now-viral moment on social media, Shakira reposted a clip from Love Island’s official Instagram account that joked about her running into “two pests” in the villa. The pests in question? None other than Harrison, and her own supposed other half, Harry.
The repost included a memorable video from the show, where Shakira furiously called Harrison an “absolute little ant” and a “f**king cockroach” during one of the villa's most heated arguments. But the shock came when she added, mid-rant:
“Cockroach number two is stood next to him…”
A reference that many fans believe was aimed directly at Harry.
While some viewers brushed off the repost as “just banter,” others aren't so convinced, especially considering the timing.

From villa lovebirds to real-life drama
Shakira, 25, and Harry, 26, were one of the most talked-about couples in the villa, from their fiery connection to their rollercoaster ups and downs. Despite a few rocky patches, they made it to the final, finishing in second place behind winners Toni Laites and Cach Mercer, who walked away with the £50,000 prize.
At the time, Harry told host Maya Jama he planned to move to Burnley to be with Shakira full-time. But now, fans are wondering whether the relocation is still on the cards, or if Shakira's social media post was a not-so-subtle message that things have gone south.
“You don’t repost a video calling your man a cockroach if you’re still in love,” one fan commented on Twitter.
“Either she’s hurt, or she’s done.”
Meanwhile, Harry has stayed completely silent on the situation, with his most recent post being a selfie from Monday night’s final and a caption thanking fans for their support.
Is it really over already?
Neither Shakira nor Harry have confirmed a breakup, but the signs are fuelling speculation. Observant followers also noted that Shakira has unfollowed Harry on Instagram, while he still follows her.
Whether it’s a dramatic fallout, a misunderstanding, or just some cheeky humour from the fiery finalist, fans are glued to their screens waiting for answers.
An ITV2 insider said: “Shakira doesn’t hold back, that’s what people love about her. But when the cameras stop rolling, reality hits fast. Whether this is a real breakup or just a bump in the road, only time will tell.”
