Liam Gallagher has sent fans into a frenzy after appearing to suggest that Oasis isn’t just reuniting for one last hurrah, they could be making a full comeback.
With anticipation reaching fever pitch ahead of the band’s long-awaited reunion tour, Gallagher’s off-the-cuff tweet may have revealed that the iconic Britpop group isn’t planning to say goodbye any time soon. When a fan tweeted, “Is there anything better than Oasis getting back together?” Liam cheekily replied, “Yeah, staying together.”
The tweet set social media alight, with die-hard fans speculating that the band's famously rocky relationship may have finally mellowed. Could Oasis really be back for good?
The tour kicks off at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, marking the first time the Gallagher brothers will share a stage in 16 years. With 19 shows already booked across the UK and Ireland, the tour will then head to North America, Asia, Australia, and South America, wrapping up in São Paulo, Brazil, on November 23.
But now, all eyes are on what comes next.
A source close to the band told us: "Liam feels really fresh, and the chemistry in rehearsals has been electric. They’re perfectly in sync. It’s like no time has passed."
Despite his hard-living image, Liam has swapped pints for proper prep this time around. Responding to a fan about their rehearsal routine, he tweeted: "We're professionals. No time for drinking."
Instead, insiders say he’s been sipping tea to warm up his famously powerful vocals.
With cryptic comments, professional rehearsals, and a renewed energy, it’s no wonder fans are holding out hope that Oasis 2.0 is here to stay.
