LeAnn Rimes proved that the show really must go on, even when disaster strikes mid-performance, or, in her case, when your teeth fall out on stage.
The country music sensation had fans both gasping and admiring her resilience over the weekend after her dental bridge popped out mid-song during a live performance at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington.
In a candid Instagram video shared with her 800k+ followers, the 41-year-old singer recounted the surreal and embarrassing moment with admirable humour and honesty, saying:
“We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on. And this is the most epic example of that.”
Rimes explained she was halfway through performing her 1996 hit One Way Ticket when she suddenly felt something "pop" in her mouth.
“If you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries,” she said. “I have a bridge in the front… it fell out in the middle of my song last night.”
Caught off-guard, she immediately paused the performance, turned to the audience and shouted “Hold on!” before running off stage to pop the bridge back in.
Rather than letting the incident ruin the night, LeAnn returned with grace, and teeth, to finish the set.
“I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening,” she continued, “or else I would have had to walk off stage. For the rest of the show, I was literally pushing my teeth in every couple of lines and singing.”

This isn’t the first time Rimes has faced an onstage dental debacle. Back in 2014, her jaw dislocated during a performance, making this latest incident feel like déjà vu with a twist.
Fans flooded her comments with praise, calling her a “true professional,” “inspirational,” and “hilariously down-to-earth.”
The Blue singer’s raw account and willingness to laugh at herself struck a chord, especially with fans who’ve followed her since her teenage years.
LeAnn Rimes may have lost a bridge, but she gained even more admiration for her ability to laugh, sing, and keep smiling through it all (teeth in or not).
