It was a night to remember for the Osbourne family, and not just because of Ozzy’s historic farewell show.
Kelly Osbourne is officially engaged to long-time boyfriend and Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson, after he surprised her with a romantic backstage proposal during Black Sabbath’s final performance at Villa Park on Saturday night.
The rock and reality TV star, 39, shared the moment with fans the next day, posting a heartwarming video on Instagram with the caption: “Oh, and this happened yesterday!”.
In the clip, Sid is seen standing backstage with Kelly, her parents Ozzy and Sharon, and other family members looking on. Just as Sid begins to speak, a cheeky Ozzy interrupts, joking: “F**k off, you’re not marrying my daughter, are you?”, which prompted laughter from the whole group.
Unfazed, Sid continued: “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything. Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life with you.” He then dropped to one knee to a chorus of cheers and applause.

Kelly, visibly emotional, didn’t hesitate to say yes, and the couple embraced as the family celebrated around them.
The engagement took place just moments before Ozzy took to the stage for what he has confirmed is his last-ever live performance. The Prince of Darkness delivered a powerful farewell set with Black Sabbath, marking the end of an era in heavy metal history.
Kelly and Sid, both born into the world of rock royalty, first met in 1999 when Slipknot toured with Ozzfest, and they reconnected years later, eventually going public with their relationship in 2022. The couple welcomed their first son, Sidney Jr., in 2023.
Fans online have been quick to send their congratulations, with one writing: “Ozzy’s reaction was priceless! Congrats to Kelly and Sid.” Another added: “What a perfect way to propose, at the end of her dad’s legendary career.”
