The “Firework” singer, 39, and Canada’s former Prime Minister, 52, were seen enjoying an intimate dinner on Monday night at Le Violon, one of Montreal’s most exclusive eateries. The sighting comes just months after Perry confirmed her split from actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she had been in a relationship for nine years.
Trudeau, who separated from wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023 after 18 years of marriage, has largely stayed out of the dating spotlight, until now.

According to a report by TMZ, the pair dined on lobster, sipped cocktails, and later visited the kitchen to personally thank the staff, a move that speaks volumes about their relaxed and friendly rapport.
Le Violon’s head chef Danny Smiles told TMZ that while the meeting drew attention, it felt more like a dinner between friends than a romantic rendezvous. He also revealed that Trudeau picked up the tab, adding a touch of old-fashioned charm to the evening.
