Kanye West Says He’s “Dreaming” About Apologising to Jay-Z

Kanye West says he’s haunted by guilt over how he treated Jay-Z, and he’s even dreaming about making things right.

In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), Ye wrote: “All my dreams have been about apologizing to Jay Z.” This latest reflection follows an April apology where he admitted to spreading offensive and unfounded claims about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s children.

Back then, he wrote: “I’m sorry Jay Z. I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real sht none of these rap n***s had my back.”

History of Hurtful Comments

Kanye’s original controversy stemmed from remarks implying that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins, Rumi and Sir, were conceived via IVF, comments that were met with outrage. Though the post was initially deleted, Ye later reposted it and defended his stance.

Despite the controversy, neither Jay-Z nor Beyoncé publicly responded, though insiders claimed they considered legal action.

Reaching for Redemption

Kanye's recent posts suggest he's searching for closure and reconciliation. The music icon has faced a number of public and private battles over the years, and many fans hope this signals a more humble and introspective phase.
