KATY PERRY APPEARS TO CONFIRM JUSTIN TRUDEAU ROMANCE DURING LONDON O2 SHOW

Katy Perry has seemingly broken her silence on her rumoured romance with Justin Trudeau, after making a playful comment on stage at London’s O2 Arena that left fans buzzing with speculation.

The Firework singer, who is currently in the middle of her Lifetimes World Tour, took to the stage last night in front of a packed crowd, and appeared to give a not-so-subtle nod to her new relationship status.

Addressing her London fans, Perry teased:

“London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school? No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore.”

The quip drew laughter and cheers from the audience, but fans were quick to point out that her “not anymore” remark may have been a reference to her rumoured new flame, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Adding to the night’s surprises, Perry was also the recipient of a spontaneous marriage proposal from a fan in the crowd. The pop icon laughed off the moment, responding:

“I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago.”

Her quick-witted reply only fuelled further speculation, coming just days after photos surfaced of Perry and Trudeau sharing a kiss aboard her yacht, the Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.

According to The Sun, sources close to the pair say that the couple have been “quietly dating” since early summer. While Perry has been on the road performing, the two have reportedly stayed in close contact despite their busy schedules.

An insider told the paper:

“They haven’t been able to spend a lot of time together as she’s on tour, but they’re constantly in contact, always FaceTiming and messaging each other.”

Perry, 39, was previously engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy Dove. Meanwhile, 53-year-old Trudeau separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.

The unlikely pairing first sparked rumours earlier this summer when Trudeau attended one of Perry’s private charity events in Los Angeles. Since then, the two have been seen together on several occasions, including an intimate dinner in Malibu and a weekend yacht trip along the California coast.

Fans at the O2 were quick to take to social media after the show, with one tweeting, “Katy basically confirmed it on stage, that wink said it all!” Another wrote, “When she said ‘not anymore,’ the whole arena gasped. We all knew exactly what she meant.”

While neither Perry nor Trudeau has officially commented on the rumours, her O2 performance seemed to be the closest thing yet to a confirmation. Whether her remark was a playful tease or a deliberate hint, it’s safe to say she’s keeping fans guessing.

And with her world tour continuing across Europe over the next few weeks, all eyes will be on the pop superstar to see if she drops any more lyrical clues about her new love life.
