Katie Price has publicly apologised to Emily Atack after sharing an offensive post that reignited their ongoing feud. The former glamour model, 46, is currently on tour with her friend and fellow reality star Kerry Katona, where the incident reportedly occurred during an interactive segment with the audience.
Katie shared a now-deleted post on Instagram featuring a photo of her and Kerry with a derogatory caption aimed at Emily, calling her “fishy.” The post quickly attracted backlash online, with many calling it unnecessary and mean-spirited. Realising the negative reaction, Katie swiftly took the post down and addressed the situation directly in a video message to her followers.
In her statement, Katie attempted to clarify the circumstances behind the offending post, explaining that it had been part of a truth-or-dare challenge during the live show. “Hey everyone, just to let you know the post that went up before – I’m on tour and it was a truth or dare challenge where the audience said ‘dare’ and the audience had to say what I had to put up on Instagram,” she said.
She continued by apologising to the Rivals star directly: “So if anyone was offended, and Emily Atack, I love you to bits. I didn’t mean any of it. It wasn’t me. It was a challenge, but we’ve now deleted it. So I apologise for that. But it was a part of a truth and a dare game on our tour.”
Katie and Emily’s tension dates back to 2019, when Emily made a joke about Katie on ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp. Although Emily has never responded publicly to Katie’s jibes over the years, the Rivals actress has often found herself the target of comments from the former model.
The apology comes as Katie and Kerry’s joint tour, An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona, continues across the UK. The shows have been drawing large crowds and plenty of headlines, with reports of rowdy audience behaviour and heightened security being brought in after several fans were ejected from early dates.
