Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former news anchor Lauren Sánchez are set to tie the knot on June 27 in Venice, Italy, with not one but three separate celebrations planned over three days in the heart of one of Europe’s most romantic cities.
According to sources close to the couple, the pair will exchange vows on San Giorgio Island, a private and picturesque location owned by the Cini Foundation. The island will be completely closed to the public for the event, ensuring absolute privacy for the high-profile nuptials.
But that’s just the beginning.
Insiders reveal that the ceremony is part of an extravagant three-day affair. On June 26, a pre-wedding gala is expected to take place at Chiostro della Madonna dell'Orto, a serene cloister on Venice’s famed Lido, perfect for a night of elegance and old-world charm.
Then, following the wedding, the celebrations will continue with a third event on June 28, believed to be a dazzling after-party at either a historical palazzo or church. All locations remain closely guarded secrets, with guests under strict instructions to maintain confidentiality.
While neither Bezos nor Sánchez have publicly confirmed the details, anticipation is building among their A-list circle of friends, with many expected to jet into Italy aboard private planes and mega yachts. Rumours are swirling that celebrity guests could include Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio, and other billionaire buddies.
