In a move that might raise eyebrows across Hollywood, superstar couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have revealed they're considering relocating their family from sun-soaked Los Angeles to the cooler climes of London, and yes, it’s because of the weather
The Grammy-winning singer and the model-turned-author are currently based in a luxurious $17.5 million home in Beverly Hills, but they say it’s the cold that’s calling. The power couple, who share four children, have spent several Christmases in the UK capital and seem to have fallen in love with everything from its festive magic to its crisp winter air.
Speaking to The Sun, Legend said, “We love it here. Chrissy loves it and the kids love it. We spent our last Christmas here and two or three Christmases ago we were here as well.” He added, “We like to be in a colder place. We don’t like to be in Los Angeles for Christmas.”
The unexpected confession has sparked excitement on both sides of the Atlantic, especially among UK fans who could soon spot the couple sipping flat whites in Notting Hill or shopping at Borough Market. Legend continued, “We always talk about the possibility of moving to New York or London. Those are two cities that we would definitely consider living in. We love walking cities.”
