JESSIE J CONFIRMS NEW ALBUM AMID CANCER BATTLE

Pop powerhouse Jessie J has given fans a reason to celebrate, confirming that her long-awaited new album will arrive later this year, even as she continues her battle with breast cancer.

The 36-year-old singer revealed earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, a devastating discovery that forced her to take a step back from touring and live performances. Despite this, Jessie has remained determined to keep creating and to bring new music to her fans.

Now, she’s announced that her next studio album, Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time, will be released on November 28, her first full-length record in seven years.

Sharing the emotional update with her millions of followers, Jessie posted the album’s striking cover artwork and wrote:

“This year has tested me in every way, but music is what’s kept me going. I couldn’t let cancer take away my love for what I do. This album is my soul, my story, my fight, and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

The news has been met with an outpouring of support from fans and fellow musicians alike, with many praising Jessie for her resilience and strength during what has been one of the most difficult periods of her life.

Jessie’s last album, R.O.S.E., was released in 2018, and her fans have been eagerly awaiting new material ever since. The upcoming project is already available to pre-order and is expected to feature anthemic tracks full of the singer’s trademark powerhouse vocals and raw emotion.

Industry insiders have hinted that the album will blend Jessie’s signature pop and R&B influences with deeply personal lyrics inspired by her recent experiences.

The star has been refreshingly open about her health journey, sharing updates about her treatment and encouraging fans to prioritise their own health checkups.

“This album is more than just music, it’s proof that you can keep going, even when life knocks you down,” she added in her post.

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement, with many calling the news “the light at the end of the tunnel” and thanking Jessie for continuing to create through such a challenging time.

With the album due to drop just in time for the festive season, many are already predicting that it will be a chart-topping comeback for the singer.
