Iron Maiden are set to make a thunderous return to Knebworth in Hertfordshire, announcing a headline show for July 11, 2026, as part of their Run For Your Lives 50th anniversary world tour. It will mark their first performance at the historic venue in over a decade, following their headline appearance at the Sonisphere Festival in 2014.
The band, who remain one of the most enduring and influential acts in rock and heavy metal history, will be joined on the bill by an eclectic lineup including The Darkness, Mongolian folk-metal sensations The Hu, hard-rock favourites Airbourne and cult legends The Almighty.
Tickets for the one-off event will go on sale this Saturday at 10am through Iron Maiden’s official website, and demand is expected to be huge, given both the band’s milestone anniversary and the venue’s storied legacy.

Knebworth has long been considered hallowed ground for rock fans, playing host to legendary performances from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and Queen. For Iron Maiden, returning to the venue carries an added layer of significance, as it represents both a homecoming and a celebration of their unmatched career longevity.
The event promises to be more than just a concert. Alongside the music, fans will be able to enjoy a range of interactive experiences, themed food and drink stands, and a modern spin on the traditional Knebworth Fayre. True to form, Maiden are ensuring their return is an immersive celebration of not just their music, but the culture and community that has surrounded them for five decades.
Having kicked off their golden anniversary tour earlier this summer, Iron Maiden have already played to sold-out crowds across multiple continents, thrilling both long-time followers and younger fans discovering their music for the first time. The tour will continue to roll across Europe throughout 2026, with the Knebworth show standing out as one of the marquee events of the year.
Frontman Bruce Dickinson recently reflected on the band’s remarkable journey, noting that their longevity is as much about the dedication of their fans as it is about the music itself. “Fifty years is an incredible milestone, and the fact that we’re still here playing for audiences as passionate as ever is down to them. Knebworth is one of those special places that holds a piece of rock history, and we can’t wait to bring Maiden back there.”

With their reputation for ambitious stage production and their ever-expanding catalogue of anthems, expectations are sky-high.
For a band that has never been content to rest on past glories, the return to Knebworth feels like the perfect way to celebrate half a century of heavy metal dominance. One thing is certain: on July 11, the skies above Hertfordshire will once again thunder with the unmistakable sound of Iron Maiden.
