INSIDE SOAP AWARDS: VOTING NOW OPEN FOR 2025

The Inside Soap Awards are officially back, marking their 29th year of celebrating the very best of British soaps, and voting is now open.

This year’s nominations reflect some of the most emotional and talked-about storylines we’ve seen on screen in years, with each soap bringing powerful moments that kept viewers glued to their screens.

On Coronation Street, Debbie Webster’s heartbreaking dementia diagnosis has struck a chord with fans of the long-running ITV drama. Over on EastEnders, Phil Mitchell’s mental health struggles brought a rarely-seen vulnerable side to one of Albert Square’s toughest characters, earning high praise from viewers and critics alike.

Emmerdale fans were left reeling when Robert crashed Aaron and John’s wedding, sparking weeks of dramatic fallout in the village. Meanwhile, Hollyoaks shocked audiences with its gripping and sensitive exploration of teenage sexual exploitation, a storyline that sparked wider conversations around the issue.

This year also sees the return of the hugely popular Best Exit category, a chance for fans to celebrate the most memorable character departures of the year, whether through tragic deaths, tearful goodbyes, or simply moving on to pastures new.

Fans can now cast their votes online at www.insidesoap.co.uk/awards or by filling out the voting form included in the latest issue of Inside Soap magazine.

A spokesperson for the awards said: “The Inside Soap Awards are a celebration of everything our soaps do best: drama, emotion, and unforgettable characters. We’re thrilled to invite fans to have their say and help us crown this year’s winners.”

The winners will be revealed later this year in a star-studded ceremony attended by the biggest names from Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, and more.

So, whether you laughed, cried, or shouted at your TV this year, don’t miss your chance to support your favourites. Voting is open now, make your voice heard.
