I’M A CELEBRITY: DENISE VAN OUTEN RUMOURED FOR 2025 JUNGLE LINE-UP

Denise van Outen has emerged as a frontrunner to appear in the 2025 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after a sudden surge of bets placed on the actress, presenter, and singer joining the famous jungle camp.

The 50-year-old star, who has enjoyed a diverse career across TV, stage, and music, has previously admitted to turning down invitations to join the Ant and Dec hosted reality show several times. However, according to industry insiders, this could finally be the year that she takes on the infamous Bushtucker Trials.

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes fuelled the speculation by telling press: “It looks like the stars have finally aligned to give us Denise van Outback in 2025. With a new album in the autumn and a tour booked for the spring, there’s a glaring hole in her calendar that she could fill with a Bushtucker Trial or two.”

Van Outen has been a regular on British television for over three decades, rising to fame in the 1990s as a presenter on The Big Breakfast. Since then, she’s taken on roles in the West End, competed on Strictly Come Dancing, and even appeared as a judge on Ireland’s Got Talent. Known for her sharp wit and down-to-earth personality, she could prove to be a popular addition to the jungle, especially with older viewers who have followed her varied career.

Fans have also noted that her new music commitments may line up neatly with a stint in Australia, allowing her to capitalise on publicity ahead of her upcoming projects. If confirmed, she would join a long list of household names who have used I’m A Celeb as a springboard to reach a whole new audience.

Other names linked to this year’s line-up include Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley and EastEnders favourite Shona McGarty. ITV traditionally keeps the official cast list tightly under wraps until closer to the launch date, but rumours begin circulating months in advance as bookies and fans speculate on who might be heading into the jungle.

The 2025 series marks yet another highly anticipated run of the reality TV giant, which has become a staple of British winter entertainment since its debut in 2002. With its mix of celebrity challenges, jungle camaraderie, and cheeky commentary from hosts Ant and Dec, the show remains one of ITV’s biggest ratings winners.

While Denise van Outen’s involvement is yet to be confirmed, the possibility of her swapping the stage for the campfire has fans and punters equally excited. If the betting odds are anything to go by, this could finally be the year she trades glitz and glamour for creepy crawlies and camp trials.
