I’M A CELEB: SEANN WALSH SET FOR ALL STARS RETURN

Seann Walsh could soon be swapping the comedy stage for the South African jungle as he’s reportedly in advanced talks to join the next series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! All Stars.

The stand-up comic originally appeared on the main ITV show in 2022, flying out to Australia to face the infamous Bushtucker Trials and try to rebuild his public image after the Strictly Come Dancing scandal that dogged his career for years.

Viewers warmed to the comic during his first stint in camp, where he surprised many by showing a more vulnerable and self-aware side than fans had seen before. His time on I’m A Celeb saw him bond with campmates and deliver plenty of laughs, finishing a respectable fifth overall, outlasting big names including Boy George and Mike Tindall.

Now it seems Seann is keen to put himself through the experience all over again, this time as part of the special All Stars version of the show, which ITV films in South Africa.

A source close to production told The Sun: “Seann was a real hit with viewers in 2022. He was funny, self-deprecating, and showed he’s more than just the guy from the Strictly photos. ITV think he’s perfect for All Stars and talks are now at an advanced stage. He’s very keen to say yes.”

I’m A Celebrity: South Africa, which first aired in 2023, brought back a host of jungle favourites including Carol Vorderman, Paul Burrell, Jordan Banjo and winner Myleene Klass. It’s understood that producers are now pulling together a similarly star-studded cast for the second series of the spin-off, and Seann is high on their wishlist.

Since his jungle stint, Seann has spoken openly about the impact of his past controversies on his mental health and career. Appearing on podcasts and in stand-up routines, he’s reflected on his mistakes and how his experience on I’m A Celeb gave him a fresh start with the public.

The South Africa edition of the hit ITV series features the same tough trials, camp dynamics and lack of luxury, but without the public voting element. Instead, celebrities compete in head-to-head challenges to avoid elimination.

Seann has yet to comment officially on the rumours, but fans have already taken to social media to express excitement at the prospect of seeing him back in the jungle.

One tweeted: “Seann Walsh was hilarious and so likeable in the jungle last time, would love to see him on All Stars!” while another added: “Hope this is true. He really deserved another chance after Strictly, and proved himself.”

ITV have not confirmed the full line-up yet, but filming is expected to begin later this year with a 2026 air date.
