I'M A CELEB: EASTENDERS STAR SHONA MCGARTY RUMORED TO JOIN

Former EastEnders star Shona McGarty is reportedly in advanced talks to join the next series of ITV’s hit reality show, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! If confirmed, the actress, best known for her iconic role as Whitney Dean on the long-running BBC soap, could be swapping Walford for the wilds of the Australian jungle this November.

According to reports from The Sun, Shona has been in discussions with ITV bosses about joining the star-studded cast of the popular reality show. A source close to the production revealed, "Jungle bosses have been keen to sign up the soap queen for ages."

The insider continued, "Shona is Walford royalty and hugely popular with TV viewers. She’s got bags of charisma, and producers think she’ll be a great campmate. Plus, fans haven’t seen much of her away from Enders, so I’m A Celeb will be an opportunity for her to show a completely different side to her personality."

Shona McGarty made a lasting impression on audiences during her 16-year stint on EastEnders, where her portrayal of Whitney Dean earned her widespread recognition and a dedicated fan base. Since leaving the soap last year, fans have been eager to see what the talented actress will do next.
