Madchester icons Happy Mondays are hitting the road once again, announcing a major UK and Ireland tour to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their iconic album Pills ’N’ Thrills And Bellyaches.
Released in 1990, the album cemented Happy Mondays as one of the defining voices of the Madchester movement, with hits like Step On, Kinky Afro and Loose Fit becoming club staples and shaping an era of British music.
To mark the milestone, Shaun Ryder, Bez, and the rest of the band will be performing highlights from the album along with fan favourites from across their discography. The tour kicks off in March 2026, covering 21 dates across the UK and Ireland.
Adding to the nostalgia, support acts will include The Farm and Northside, recreating the line-up from Happy Mondays’ legendary 1991 show at Elland Road in Leeds.
Fans can expect a night of pure Madchester energy, complete with Bez’s unmistakable dancing and Shaun Ryder’s unmistakable vocals, as the Mondays revisit one of their most celebrated records.
