Gordon Ramsay is turning up the heat in London. The world-renowned chef has announced he will open the UK’s first-ever Hell’s Kitchen restaurant next year, giving British diners a taste of the fiery brand that has become a global success.
The new venture will be located at The Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch, following a partnership with The Clermont Hotel Group. It’s a major milestone for Ramsay, whose Hell’s Kitchen restaurants have already become popular dining destinations in the United States and beyond.
From TV to Table
Inspired by Ramsay’s long-running reality series of the same name, Hell’s Kitchen restaurants are designed to bring the drama and intensity of the show into a real-world setting. The concept is centred on an open kitchen, where diners can watch chefs at work, recreating the theatre, energy, and occasional chaos that fans have come to associate with Ramsay’s television empire.
The immersive experience has proven a huge hit internationally, with existing locations in Las Vegas, Miami, Atlantic City, Washington D.C., Lake Tahoe, and even Ibiza. Now, Londoners will get their first chance to step inside Ramsay’s culinary battleground.
Ramsay’s Promise of Theatre and Performance
Speaking about the new restaurant, Ramsay said:
“London is my home, and it’s about time we brought Hell’s Kitchen here. It’s more than a meal, it’s theatre, it’s drama, and of course, it’s about incredible food. I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
According to his team, guests can expect signature dishes made famous on the show, as well as a few surprises exclusive to the London venue. Classic Hell’s Kitchen menu staples include Ramsay’s iconic Beef Wellington, lobster risotto, and sticky toffee pudding, all served with flair and spectacle.

A Return to UK Screens?
While Hell’s Kitchen USA continues to air successfully, the UK version has not been on screens since 2009. The new restaurant launch has already sparked speculation that the brand could see a revival on British television, though no official announcements have been made.
Still, the London opening will offer fans a chance to reconnect with the brand, combining Ramsay’s trademark passion and perfectionism with a dining experience that doubles as entertainment.
A Culinary Destination in the Making
The Cumberland Hotel, already a landmark in Marble Arch, is expected to see a surge in visitors when the restaurant launches. The combination of Ramsay’s international profile and the Hell’s Kitchen brand’s reputation for excitement is likely to make it one of London’s hottest reservations of 2025.
For diners aged 35 and over, who fondly remember Ramsay’s fiery television days, the opening marks a nostalgic yet fresh opportunity to step inside the drama, without being on the receiving end of his famous temper.
With the UK’s first Hell’s Kitchen finally confirmed, Ramsay continues to cement his place not just as a Michelin-starred chef, but as a global entertainment and hospitality powerhouse.
