GLASTONBURY 2027 DATES REVEALED, FIRST TICKETS UP FOR GRABS IN CHARITY PRIZE DRAW

GLASTONBURY 2027 DATES REVEALED, FIRST TICKETS UP FOR GRABS IN CHARITY PRIZE DRAW

Glastonbury Festival, the world’s most iconic celebration of music and culture, has officially confirmed its return for Wednesday June 23 to Sunday June 27, 2027, and fans already have the chance to win tickets.

The announcement follows confirmation that 2026 will be a fallow year, a long-standing tradition that allows the festival site, Worthy Farm, and the surrounding local community time to rest and recover after the huge impact of hosting the event.

This fallow year will give both organisers and festival-goers a chance to reset before Glastonbury comes back with a bang in 2027. The festival’s last scheduled break was in 2018, though organisers were also forced to cancel both the 2020 and 2021 editions due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Ticket details revealed

While it may feel a long wait, organisers have confirmed that the initial batch of ticket deposits is expected to go on sale in November 2026, following the familiar pattern from previous years. Ticket holders will then be required to pay off the remaining balance in April 2027, with a resale of any returned tickets set to take place shortly afterwards.

However, fans eager to secure their spot early have been given a golden opportunity: Glastonbury is launching a charity prize draw where the first 25 tickets for the 2027 festival will be won. This exciting initiative not only builds anticipation but also raises money for important causes, something the festival has always been passionate about supporting.

Why Glastonbury is worth the wait

Over the years, Glastonbury has become far more than just a music festival. From unforgettable headline performances by the likes of Beyoncé, The Rolling Stones, Adele, and Paul McCartney, to its mix of art, activism, and community spirit, it is a cultural moment that draws more than 200,000 people each year.

The decision to take a fallow year may disappoint some fans who had hoped for a 2026 edition, but history shows that these breaks often result in an even bigger, better festival experience when it returns.

With speculation already swirling about who could headline in 2027, anticipation is set to reach fever pitch. Whether it’s rock legends, global pop icons, or breakthrough artists, Glastonbury always manages to surprise and delight.

The countdown begins

With dates locked in and tickets already making headlines, Glastonbury 2027 is firmly on the horizon. Fans will need patience, but the reward promises to be one of the most memorable weekends in the festival’s history.

For now, all eyes are on the charity ticket draw and the long road to Worthy Farm in June 2027.
