GEORGIA MAY FOOTE TRAGEDY: Coronation Street Star’s Beauty Studio Destroyed in Blaze

Georgia May Foote has been left devastated after a massive fire completely destroyed her beauty business in Middleton.

The former Coronation Street actress took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news, revealing her beloved nail studio, which she had built up over the last four years, was consumed by flames after a huge blaze ripped through the Storage World unit where it was located.

“Now as some of you may know, I’ve been a nail technician now for the past 4 years alongside my acting,” she wrote.
“Unfortunately, my beautiful little studio was affected by a huge fire within the Storage World unit in Middleton last night.”

Georgia, 33, who played Katy Armstrong on Corrie, added that she wasn’t the only one hit by the disaster.

“Not only has my business burned down, but so has many other people’s. Along with their most loved possessions. My heart goes out to them all.”

The fire reportedly broke out overnight, with emergency services battling the flames into the early hours. A full investigation into the cause is underway.

The tragedy has sparked an outpouring of support from fans, fellow actors, and clients. Many have taken to social media to offer words of comfort and urge her to rebuild.

Georgia’s journey into beauty began as a side hustle during quiet periods in her acting career. She trained as a nail technician and opened her own private studio, balancing her two passions with pride.

“She built that business from scratch,” one fan commented. “This is absolutely heartbreaking.”

It remains unclear whether insurance will cover the full cost of damages, but for now, Georgia is focusing on coming to terms with the emotional and financial blow.
