The former footballer was joined by his wife Victoria, their son Romeo, and a host of celebrity friends, but there was no sign of Brooklyn at the lavish event. Adding fuel to the fire, Romeo shared photos from the night on Instagram, captioning them, “Family is everything,” while tagging several family members, except Brooklyn and Nicola.
Fans were quick to notice the omission, sparking theories about a growing divide between the siblings. According to TMZ, one possible reason for the tension is Romeo’s relationship with model Kim Turnbull. Sources claim Brooklyn had a romantic connection with Kim years ago, though that is reportedly "water under the bridge." However, the real issue appears to be that Brooklyn and Nicola are sceptical about Kim’s intentions in dating Romeo, leading to friction between the brothers.
This latest drama comes nearly three years after rumours of tension between Nicola and Victoria Beckham, which first emerged around Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding. Fans noticed a shift in their social media interactions, and reports suggested there was a clash of cultures between Nicola’s wealthy American upbringing and the Beckham family’s British traditions. One major talking point was Nicola’s decision not to wear a Victoria Beckham-designed wedding dress, which she later explained was due to a production issue rather than any personal slight. Despite Nicola repeatedly denying any family feud, her comments about “no family being perfect” have done little to put the speculation to rest.
