Eurovision legend Graham Norton has given his seal of approval to the UK's entry, Remember Monday, just days before the Grand Final. Norton, who will once again be providing his iconic commentary for the BBC's coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday, May 17, has praised the British trio as "flawless."
In a glowing review of the UK's chances this year, Norton highlighted the unique appeal of Remember Monday. "Remember Monday have a great advantage in that they are unlike any other act this year. Their vocals and harmonies are flawless, the song has a very strong hook, and the trio are hugely likeable," he said. "With a decent place in the running order, they should do very well indeed."
The beloved presenter is known for his sharp wit and insightful Eurovision commentary, making his positive assessment a significant boost for the UK act. Remember Monday, known for their impeccable harmonies and engaging stage presence, are hoping to bring Eurovision glory back to the UK.
However, Norton also shared his thoughts on some of the other standout acts in this year’s competition. He noted that 2025 is a "big year for party anthems," singling out Malta's Miriana Conte and Ireland’s EMMY, whose entry is a surprising banger about an immortal dog.
Looking beyond the upbeat tracks, Norton tipped Italy as another strong contender, thanks to a classic rock ballad performed by Lucio Corsi. "Cutting through all the noise, I think Italy might have a good year," he commented, showcasing his keen eye for Eurovision’s ever-diverse musical landscape.
As excitement builds for the Grand Final, Norton's predictions have sparked even more interest among fans. With his vast experience and deep understanding of Eurovision’s unpredictable nature, his words carry weight.
