Dua Lipa is officially off the market. The Grammy-winning singer has confirmed her engagement to British actor Callum Turner, following months of swirling rumours sparked by the eye-catching diamond ring she’s been spotted wearing since early spring.
The couple, who first went public with their romance in January, have been inseparable ever since, and now they’re taking the next big step together. Reps for the pair have confirmed the happy news, while Dua herself gave fans a glimpse of the sparkler in a new set of Instagram photos captioned simply: “Forever sounds just right.”
Dua, 28, and Callum, 34, had kept their relationship relatively low-key, often avoiding press questions and rarely sharing joint posts. But eagle-eyed fans noticed a sizeable diamond ring on Dua’s left hand in multiple appearances over the past few months, including the Met Gala and her Glastonbury rehearsal photos.
Now, it turns out those fan theories were absolutely correct.
Sources close to the couple say the engagement happened “weeks ago” during a romantic getaway to the Italian coast, but the two wanted to enjoy the moment privately before making it public.
“They are so happy and in love. Callum proposed in a very sweet, relaxed way, it wasn’t a big flashy thing, just a quiet moment between the two of them,” a friend shared.
“Dua said yes straight away. They’re planning a long engagement, and aren’t rushing anything.”

Callum Turner, best known for roles in Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air, has been winning fans over with his charm and talent, and now, as Dua’s fiancé, he’s officially the envy of the internet.
The couple’s engagement is being celebrated by fans and fellow stars alike, with a wave of congratulations flooding social media. Fellow pop star Charli XCX commented “Finally!!!”, while model Bella Hadid simply wrote: “Obsessed with you two. 💍”
As Dua continues to enjoy the success of her new album Radical Optimism, it looks like 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest year of her life, both professionally and personally.
