Drake is no stranger to living large, but even by his standards, this month’s gambling losses are jaw-dropping.
The 37-year-old Canadian rapper has revealed he’s lost an eye-watering £10 million in bets just this month, sharing the news with fans via a candid Instagram Story on Wednesday night.
In a screenshot of his betting history, Drake revealed that he had wagered close to $125 million (£93 million) over the last month across various platforms. But the sting? He’s come out of it over $8 million (£6 million) in the red.
Even more jaw-dropping was his $75 million (£56 million) bet on Fortnite, yes, the video game, which ended in a staggering $6 million (£4 million) loss.
“Gotta share the other side of gambling…” he wrote. “Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon.”

The rapper’s betting habits have long been a topic of conversation, with fans and critics dubbing his unlucky streak the infamous "Drake Curse". The theory goes like this: anytime Drake places a bet or supports a sports team, disaster follows. And history backs it up, from Conor McGregor to Anthony Joshua, many athletes have suffered defeats shortly after receiving the rapper’s public support.
Even as he continues to rake in millions from music and business ventures, Drake’s gambling obsession has drawn concern. Some fans on social media have even begun to question whether the losses are sustainable, or just a flex gone too far.
But if Drake’s track record tells us anything, it’s that he’ll keep betting… and we’ll keep watching.
