DOUBLE EXIT SHOCK: Alan Carr & Daisy May Cooper QUIT ITV’s ‘Password’!

ITV’s Password is getting a major shakeup, and fans are not happy.

Comedy favourites Alan Carr and Daisy May Cooper have officially QUIT the show ahead of its upcoming second series, according to reports from The Sun. The hit game show, hosted by Stephen Mangan, pits celebrity team captains against each other to help everyday contestants guess mystery words and win cash.

But the original dream team of Carr and Cooper won’t be back this time around.

A source told the publication: “They loved filming the first series but unfortunately their schedules are too jam-packed to commit to another run.”

While their hilarious chemistry helped make the show a hit with viewers, ITV is now planning a new twist. The second series will reportedly feature a rotating panel of celebrity guests instead of permanent captains.

Mangan will remain at the helm as host, but the absence of Carr and Cooper has left fans divided. Some are excited about the idea of fresh faces every episode, while others say it just won’t be the same without the original duo.

“Nooooo! Alan and Daisy MADE the show!” wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter).
“They had the best banter, it won’t be as funny without them.”

ITV has yet to officially confirm the casting shake-up, but filming for the second season is expected to begin this summer.

With big shoes to fill, the pressure is on for the new format to keep the laughs, and viewers, coming.
