DEF LEPPARD: NEW TOUR ANNOUNCED

DEF LEPPARD: NEW TOUR ANNOUNCED

Def Leppard have officially announced their long-awaited return to the stage with a brand-new run of UK and European tour dates for summer 2026. The legendary Sheffield rockers revealed 11 headline shows, promising fans a mix of “surprises and classics” that will celebrate their decades-spanning career.

The newly announced shows will mark the band’s first standalone headline tour since 2023, when they joined forces with Mötley Crüe for a mammoth global trek. That tour included a sold-out show at Wembley Stadium and dates across 27 countries, cementing Def Leppard’s reputation as one of the world’s greatest live rock acts.

This time around, the spotlight is solely on Def Leppard. Kicking off on June 26th at Belsonic in Belfast, the band will then play Glasgow, Sheffield, London, Birmingham and Manchester before heading into Europe for further dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am, and demand is expected to be huge given the band’s enduring legacy and loyal fanbase.

Formed in Sheffield in 1977, Def Leppard went on to dominate the ‘80s and ‘90s with era-defining albums like Pyromania and Hysteria, which produced global hits such as Pour Some Sugar on Me, Love Bites, and Animal. To date, they’ve sold more than 100 million records worldwide and remain one of the few rock bands to achieve certified diamond album sales in the United States.

In recent years, the band have continued to prove their staying power. Their shows combine state-of-the-art production with the raw power of their iconic anthems, creating an experience that resonates with both long-time fans and new generations of rock lovers.

Frontman Joe Elliott has hinted that the new shows will include plenty of surprises alongside the classics: “We’ve had some incredible tours in recent years, but there’s something special about stepping out on stage on our own terms. These shows are for the fans who’ve been with us since day one, and for everyone who’s discovered our music along the way. Expect a celebration of Def Leppard through the years, with a few surprises thrown in.”
